Should we have a chat room?

It seems like it might be a good idea to have a chat room so that people could get to know each other better, plus have real-time conversatiuons that would'nt take up alot of space on the boards. Im sure this must have been considered at one point. Im just wondering what everone thinks, including the Mods.

I'm just the opposite. Not that I would oppose to the idea, just rather that I think it would take away from the forum itself - I think we've got a pretty decent way of communicating going now...jut IMHO

I've never liked the idea of a chat room on a site where there's a forum. Seems like that's what a message board is for.

I agree... it would be a good idea but... people would begin doing nothing but hanging in the chatroom save the people who attach files. Then virtually noone would post on the forum itself... then people that were not present in the chat room at the time some really useful information would come up... they would miss out on all this info... i strictly believe that a forum site should not have a chat room.

other site have chat and I go by some of them I really dont see anybody in them and plus I dont want this site to be like other vh site Im sorry but that how I feel about it
maybe i nthe future but again not right now build up on posting is the key and more important than a chat right now
