Man, Mike, are we in "lock step" or what?!?!? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif My thoughts exactly. FYI, the neck carves on these axes are based on his Kramers. Yes, you heard it right. In fact, I've heard from the FMIC guys that they CNC'd the new charvel necks based off of the hockey stick headstock neck from his "5150" from the 1984/5150 tours. From initial specs, could be true (1 5/8" nut etc.). As you already know, I am a huge Wolfgang lover, from the asymmetrical back shape, to the double carbon graphite truss system, to the unique body shape (especially in light of all of the lawsuits being intiated by both Gibson and FMIC), to the dtuna floyd. Anyway, complete lunacy on the $$$ paid for these "dining table" sprayed, single hum, axes.Yes they probably sound fine (for a solid basswood/maple neck guitar - boy that's a difficult and rare combo /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/goofy.gif), but NOT $15K fine!! total idiocy IMHO, YMMV!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drunk.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/drunk.gif

Damn sweet pics.
Thanks for the look at Mike bass as well.
I notice all those video cameras as well. Does mean there maybe a DVD of these shows soon?
