Hey, I am having issue with my Wah pedal killing my signal from my guitar. Everything is extremely quite when I have the wah pedal in the effects chain, but as soon as I take it out everything goes back to normal volume.

I don't have that much stuff hooked up either, here is my effects order

Guitar - Distortion Pedal - Wah Pedal - Phase 90 - Amplifier.

Any thoughts let me know, don't know why all of a sudden it is causing me issues. I thought that maybe the battery was dead, so I replaced it, but it didn't seem to have any effect at all.

we had a similar problem with a crybaby pedal a few years back and spent days trying to figure it out. turns out the pedal was just bad....and we took it down to the local electronics guy and he replaced somethin in it and fixed it, it was nothin we could do to it....or anything we caused, just a circuit or somethin went bad..... Somethin to check...pull the bottom cover off, so you can see the board and stuff....look to the left and right..you'll see three wires a piece (should be either two or three) going into the backside of the 1/4 inch jacks where the in and out cables go. Give those cables a good "wiggle" and make sure they're still firmly soldered on. If one of them is loose, that can cause your problem. If one's loose (or looser than the others) get someone with a soldering gun to put it back on for you (or do it yourself if you're into that). If it's a volume thing, it might be something very simple. Also... Run your cable that's going INTO the pedal directly from the guitar to the amp....and do the same with the cable that's going OUT of the pedal. Straight from guitar to amp. If you got no issues, than you know for sure it's your pedal. Remember, you might be thinking wah pedal, and it might not be the pedal at all. Hope it helps.

Thanks Steve-O, I'll checkout the wires tonight. I already checked all the cables, so I am pretty sure those are ok.

try this Amp - distortion- Phase 90 - wah - gutitar if that doesnt work I dont know what to tell you but from setup i done in the past i always put the wah last.. Also try shutting down the distortion and the phase and just leave the wah on test the signal than just turn on the phase after if that works than try the distortion.... let me know if this works I hope so

Well, I must have missed a cable or just thought that because it was new that it was fine. Turns out that I have a faulty brand new cable. I replaced my new 12" cable with a 15' cable temporarily and everything works now!!

Thanks for the help guys!!!

Glad you got it going. Another thing to check if that happens is the battery. A dying or dead battery will kill your signal when the pedal is engaged.....
